Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the daily operation of The Mistral in accordance with management standards and procedures ensuring courteous and efficient service to the guests;
- Ensure the achievement of departmental targets, namely, financial, guest satisfactory and staff development;
- Responsible for implementing new strategies to maximize potential growth, revenues and profitability of the restaurants;
- Optimize the wine and beverage offering and drive sales volume;
- Organize wine dinners and strive the wine culture of the restaurant;
- Monitor and control the resources to minimize costs and expenses;
- Provide training, coaching and lead the team to consistently deliver quality service to guests;
- Work closely with culinary team to ensure the preparation, presentation and service of food products are up to the highest quality at all time;
- Sustain the IHG services standard and its standard of food safety and personal hygiene within the team.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Food & Beverage Management, Hotel Management or related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity, preferably in an Italian cuisine or fine dining setting;
- Certificate in Hygiene Supervisor or related certification is preferred;
- Certification in wine and spirits (e.g. WSET) and/or additional knowledge of hosting wine dinners and menu composition is advantageous;
- Focused in business opportunities and strong leadership and interpersonal skills, detailed service and customer driven;
- Well organized, detail-oriented, professional, and a self-motivated team-player with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Good command in both English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
