Hong Kong, January 2007 - The Mistral is featuring a special seasonal artichoke menu, highlighting the finest flavours of this Italian native.
The globe artichoke is a native of the Mediterranean and Italy is home to almost 70% of the world's production.
In January, artichokes reach their prime when they are at their largest, most tender and sweetest. Chef Sergio has selected the freshest jetfresh artichokes for his creations. That includes Artichoke Salad with Warm Ricotta, Orange-perfumed. Risotto with Artichokes and King Prawns, Fillet of San Peter with Artichokes and Sautéed Potatoes and more!

The Mistral Valentine Culinary Kit including a cooking class with 4 courses by Chef Sergio and ingredients for 2 people in any day over February. On 13 or 14 February, the survival kit with ingredients for 2 people including 1 bottle of Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label can be picked up at Hotel. Moreover, Chef's HOTLINE service will be provided, for those to like some wine advice and any help on the cooking!

Hong Kong, January 2007 - Tiffany's New York Bar gets back to the big band sound with Age of Play - a new nine piece band playing cool funky foot-tapping tunes to help you relax the night away.
The talent includes three female vocalists with torch song voices full of power and honey, one male vocalist who croons as well as he rocks. The band features a saxophone, keyboards, guitars and drums. Age of Play plays popular hits from across the eras - taking on modern rock ballads to Hip Hop and RnB tunes.
In 2007, TNYB promises to be the place to go in TST East with Age of Play bringing down the house, a superb drinks selection including award-winning cocktails, televised sports and much more.

Hong Kong, January 2007 - Michelin-starred Chef Ugo Alciati from the famed home of Slow Food movement in Piedmont northern Italy will bring his unique style of culinary heritage to The Mistral between January 15 - 21.
The Slow Food Movement emphasises eco-gastronomy - recognising the relationship between plate and planet. It aims to protect the heritage of food, tradition and culture in each of its national or regional cuisines.
Food & Beverage Director John Drummond says: "Hongkongers love discovering great food and appreciate the finer qualities in eating delicious cuisine. We all aspire to enjoying food that is environmentally sympathetic yet economically sustainable - eating fine Italian cuisine with a rising star is one of them."
