Hong Kong, February 2007 - The Mistral is highlighting Foie Gras in March, highlighting the versatility of this regal ingredient in Italian cuisine.
In The Mistral, we only serve Grade A or the finest quality. These are firm and light-coloured, or almost white. The weight varies from 1 to 3 pounds, which is fairly large, and the shape is round and bulbous, yet smooth, blemish free and pliable.
The Mistral's Menu includes Risotto with Foie Gras crispy leek and scampi, Penne Pasta with Foie Gras & Duckling Ragout and Beef tenderloin stuff with foie gras, and more. Available from March 1 - 31.

Hong Kong, February 2007 - From March 1- 31, indulge in a Magic Mushroom Adventure at Hoi King Heen. This month is an ideal to time to enjoy the subtle yet rich flavours of Asia's fungi that have been fashioned into a menu of creative dishes by Chef Leung.
Sautéed Morchella Esculenta mushroom, which has a distinctive earthy flavour is delicious piled atop stir-fried egg whites and crispy long beans. Fresh and tender asparagus rolled with a slice of a strong, tasty, country-cured beef, matches perfectly with Yangduzi (Sheep-stomach) mushroom. A great delicacy. Meanwhile, you could order Coconut and Crabmeat baked with Jizong Mushroom - a remarkable feature of this dish is that it is natural medicinal ingredient with tremendous "South East" flavours!
