HONG KONG, December 2005 - Chef Sergio at The Mistral has been busy filling the air with anticipation and aromas of the joyous festivities to come!
During the Christmas season fanciful specialties will claim a place of honor at Chef Sergio's table. Traditional dishes that will add a festive note to the season include Lobster soup with Sevruga caviar;
Aged black Angus beef tenderloin carpaccio with a black truffle sauce and Baby veal loin with foie gras, Rossini style. Delicious desserts such as the Panettone semifreddo with Moscato sauce are carefully prepared according to recipes handed down from generation to generation. Chef Sergio's Christmas Eve eight-course menu is priced at HK$680*.
New Year's Eve offers another opportunity to indulge the senses in the very best authentic Italian delicacies. Chef Sergio's gastronomic compilation will include Pan-fried duck liver with caramelized figs and balsamico; Herb gratinated turbot with caviar and Pan-fried veal tenderloin with breaded porcini mushrooms.
Chef Sergio's New Year's Eve extravaganza is priced at HK$888*. A live band will entertain guests throughout the evening.
