Captivating Cuvaison Wine Dinner On 18th May

Hong Kong, May 2005 - Belvedere at InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong will host Jay Schuppert, President of Cuvaison Estate Wines, for a five-course wine dinner on 18th May. A fabulous opportunity to meet the man at the helm of one of Napa Valley’s finest vineyards!

Cuvaison's winery is located in northern Napa Valley at the top of the beautiful Silverado Trail, but the history and heart of Cuvaison lie approximately 40 miles Southwest in the winery's 400-acre estate in Carneros. As one of the pioneers in the Carneros region, Cuvaison’s visionary founders chose a site that was perfectly situated to express the character and complexity of this unique terroir. The unique cool climate and geography of the region are truly ideal for creating Cool Chardonnay’s and Perfect Pinot’s!

Going Gourmet With German White Asparagus!

Hong Kong, May 2005 - Belvedere is going Gourmet with German White Asparagus Dinners, 11th and 14th May.

The German asparagus season or "Spargelzeit" will soon be drawing to an end, so take advantage of one of the last opportunities to taste the delicious white spears from the renowned asparagus town’s of Schwetzingen, Reilingen, Karlsruhe and Rastatt.

Chef Darrell will prepare a wonderful five-course menu with the finest and freshest white asparagus of the season. Try the White Asparagus soup with smoked foie gras ravioli or the White asparagus glazed with Hollandaise sauce, served with cooked bone ham and new potatoes, not forgetting dessert White asparagus crème caramel with white balsamic ice cream.

The five-course dinner is priced at HK$550.00 per person – inclusive of 10% service charge.
