Hong Kong, January 2005 - Belvedere welcomes Michelin-Star Chef Gerd Eis from Restaurant Ente, the gourmet restaurant at Hotel Nassauer Hof in the elegant spa town of Wiesbaden, Germany. Hotel Nassauer Hof is a member of “The Leading Hotels of the World” and “Selektion Deutscher Luxushotels”.
Chef Eis has spent many years of his career at leading establishments in Europe and Asia where he earned the reputation as a master of innovative German cuisine with a Mediterranean, Asian or Classic French touch.
Throughout the culinary week Chef Eis will be cooking up wonderful creations, including eight-course wine dinner to be held on Monday January 24th and Thursday January 27th.

Stefan Ress, from Balthasar Ress Winery (Rheingau), in collaboration with the German Wine Society Hong Kong, have chosen a wonderful selection of German wines from Balthasar Ress, Juliusspital, Paul Anheuser, Max Ferd. Richter, and Lingenfelder.
Belvedere is delighted to present Balthasar Ress' "Hatttenheimer Nussbrunnen Riesling Auslese" which was served at a reception held by Queen Elizabeth to celebrate the 75th birthday of the famous cellist Rostropovich. At the wine dinner Stefan Rees will also be introducing and serving “Hattenheimer Schützenhaus, Kabinett Rheingau”, this wine garnered the coveted prize “Best of Nation” at the San Francisco Wine Competition in 2003.
